The Estes Der Red Max is the first rocket I ever built. It was my start in hobby rocketry. After flying so many times I forgot the number, the rocket was retired for fear of losing it. It was briefly brought out of retirement at Fire in the Sky 2010 to take part in a Der Red Max drag race.
