Unfortunately, due to fire danger, WAC’s Autumn Glare launch in Mansfield has been canceled. The next launch is the Jack Frost APfest on October 20th-21st. T minus 40 days and counting.
In other news, I have finished editing my photos from Abbotsford, and will probably be uploading them in the next few days. I also hope to get to work on my videos from both JBLM and Abbotsford at some point this week.
I have uploaded my photos from this year’s practice run of Seafair’s Boeing Air Show. Highlights include an F/A-18F Superhornet, Some of Paul Allen’s beautifully-restored playthings, and the incomparable Blue Angels.

As was the case at the time of my last post, I’m still waiting for more storage before I work on my videos from JBLM and Abbotsford. The photos from Abbotsford will also probably be a while, as I have over 1500 of them to cull through and edit. The lighting there this year was especially terrible (it’s always bad, but this was something else), so quite a bit of editing will be needed.
The next event I have planned is WAC’s Autumn Glare launch. T -29 days and counting.
I have (finally) uploaded my photos from this year’s Air Expo at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Highlights include the Patriots Jet Team, a B-1B Lancer, the US Army Golden Knights, and the USAF Thunderbirds.
I’m currently working on storage issues (i.e. I don’t have enough of it), but I will work on my videos from the Air Expo once I sort those out. In the meantime, I will work on editing and posting my photos from Seafair 2012 and the 50th Abbotsford International Air Show.

The folks at Arlington managed to put on a great fly-in and air show once again. I have uploaded my photos from the event.
For rocketeers in the Pacific Northwest, Memorial Day weekend means one thing… Fire in the Sky.
